Freeze a droplet and you’ll see a reflection of the shadow of the faucet with the droplet.
One of the things that I have always wanted to shoot from my Nikon D60 is water dropping from a faucet. I did not know the settings that should be used in order to freeze time at the crucial moment, as well as preserving the intended emphasis on the droplet of water. I did however went through some fantastic water droplet shots from Flickr and took at look at the settings that were used in order to make similar shots.
Ans os here is my first fallinf water droplet shot from one of the old faucets at home. Honestly, I had to go through 25 shots just to capture something right.
Forget about shutter releases and actuations as long as you got the shot you were looking for.
Well, I am however mindful of the shutter releases used when I take portraits.
eyelavet! *clap clap clap*
I just love looking at pictures which capture movement and freezes it. It just looks so beautiful. I do believe that a good photographer never settles on just one shot. you keep on clicking until you are satisfied and achieve your desired emotion. Kudos to you!
Anyway, on a more serious note: Among the Nikon D__, which do you think is the best? the 40? 60? 80?

@Jigs- thanks too ^_^ Hmm…if I have the budget, I would go for the D80 (more AF points and autfocuses with older lenses than my D60) but my D60 already has the same sensor as the D80, EXPEED processor, eye-sensor, and this useful electronic rangefinder (which is a new feature).
Then again, in the end it all boils down to the one who is using the camera. (It’s not the Pana but the Indian) I have known users of high-end cameras (like in my recent photog class) but do not have the eye for shooting and other than that…they don’t really know how to maximize their settings when shooting. ^_^ You can own a D80 but you suck at shooting or own just a D40 and produce awesome pictures.
Ang galing nag pagkakakuhamo doon .. I lan take yun ?
Great
@Dexter- Thanks
I took me 25 shots before I finally got the shot I wanted
Errors came from not adjusting the faucet’s opening.
