Hidden Spring?
I just had my first Landscape shooting in Laguna last Saturday. We went to Majayjay Falls and it was just my first time to shoot running water.
Other Nikon users taught me how to do long exposures with the right setting and I also experimented with my new CPL (Circular Polarizer) Filter. Without that, the water would not have been more crystal clear in showing rocks underwater. If I only have another filter overlapped like this ND (Neutral Density) Filter, they said that the rocks’ colors with float and sunshine over the foiliage will give a brighter effect.

Running Water
It was actually funny because we all woke up early just to be alone with the waterfall. Right after 15 minutes, a lot of people came in and swam by the waterfall and rested by the big rocks. Honestly, I was a little irritated with the crowd because I was doing long exposures to give that soft and silky water effect, then some people bump my back and then my whole setup and shot gets ruined. It happened so many times, but I managed to salvage some shots.

Majayjay Falls, Laguna
On this last shot of the waterfall, I decided to include my shot with the people just under it to give it a scale. Without the people, I think this shot would be so bland and would look like just any other falling water.
@Mark- thanks I’ll add stops to my water shots to make them emerge
nice!!!!
i wouldn’t think it’s from laguna.. but WOW!
There’s some vignetting effect on the waterfalls which looks great but not as effective on the top picture. Nonetheless, I think the shots are great. I’m no expert (I’m barely an amateur, LOL!) so don’t give much of my opinions any weight or matter. hehe!

Awesome shots. The first two pics just look a biiiiiit underexposed in large areas but I just love how the water looks in your shots. Try adding some steps to your exposure compensation.
